Der Cobbenroder Paul Hufnagel hat ein Buch über Schützenfest-Bräuche im Sauerland veröffentlicht. Es war ihm wichtig, nicht nur die üblichen Bräuche aufzuschreiben, sondern auch die Besonderen. Dabei sind viele Bräuche ans Tageslicht gekommen, die einem ein Lächeln ins Gesicht zaubern. Da wären z.B. Mondscheinwalzer, Mützentaufe, Elfentanz, Heringsbegraben, Latschentanz, Thekentauchen, Runkelkönig, Schuhekloppen, Malefizgericht und viele mehr.
